Fox and Hound is an ideal place for the sports fan looking for an above average nosh for the big game. I've been here a couple of times for going away parties and most recently for a dinner with a friend. The service is always prompt, if not alittle disjointed on my last visit. The waitress has no problem with blurting out whatever she has to say regardless of whether you are having a conversation or not, but I guess this is the state of service in most mid-market joints these days. Admittedly, I almost always stick to the bavarian pretzel sandwich, which is alittle more bready than a true bavarian pretzel, but goes well with the turkey, bacon, monterrey jack cheese and honey mustard dressing. Frankly, I wish it was served with a dijon mustard that was more tart than sweet, but that may harken back to my days in Munich. Then again I also wish for a large blong she-man to carry a gallon mug of heferweissen to my table, but that ain't gonna happen either. I digress. My husband ordered the wings, which are on a 2-4-1 deal on thursday nights (in other words, order 10 for $8.49 and they give you 10 more for free)...he chose the hot honey and the BBQ sauces. In case you are keeping score, yep, it was another veggie free night for him. my friend had the napa valley salad with included grilled chicken, dried craisins and some type of cheese on spinach. The salad looked like a great lunch or light dinner option. The food, service and on-tap beer selection push Fox-and-Hound to a 3.5+ stars...Good food and eager service, but notthing I'd ever be craving.

If you are an American football fan this is a place to avoid! Visited this establishment to watch Thursday night NFL game. With a rerun of a 2002 hockey game trophy presentation on the TV I was informed by the manager that we could not watch the NFL pregame because it was not "live". Just another chain establishment that does not put the customer first, but is more concerned about frivolous chain restaurant guidelines. Went to BooDad's right down the street where they had the NFL network on every TV, and actually had IPA on draft unlike the Fox & Hound.

This place is a tremendous waste of a perfectly good concept. Don't be fooled by the name. This place is as plain as it gets. Very poor beer selection. The food is nothing short of sustenance. Unoriginal fare coupled with unoriginal beer (no dark beers? seriously?). Coming to this place is no different than going to Applebees, Ruby Tuesday, or any other standard chain restaurant. It's a sports bar and nothing more. Service is good, though. Here's a link to their health inspection: elpaso2.co.gegov.com/el_… How to improve: embrace the British facade. Offer expanded selection of world-class beers (British beers ideal). Serve cider on draft (Strongbow or Woodchuck), Serve british pub food. Install dart board area. This is how they can improve their business. Voila.

Genevieve B.
I'm going to give kudos for their LARGE selection of beers/ciders on tap. Staff is very friendly and attentive as well. Where this place disappoints is food. Oh, man the food blows. I've eaten here on two occasions and everything just looks and tastes like it came right out of a freezer bag and onto my plate. Flavorless, bland and resembles crap you get at the concession stand at the movies. Fox & Hound: Why u no serve good food?

We stopped in for lunch and noticed there were hardly any other people in the restaurant. We ordered off the menu for the lunch specials (beer and food). The waitress didn't mention that "craft beer" wasn't included in the special (more on that later). After ordering the beer, the waitress disappeared for quite some time. Apparently she was searching for the bartender who was nowhere to be found. Finally the manager showed up behind the bar to get the beers, only to discover the keg needed to be changed. After more waiting, one beer arrived, which we shared until the next beer came to our table. We ordered the chicken street tacos and a cheeseburger for lunch along with french fries. The chicken tacos were cold and the tortillas fell apart on first bite. It looked like it should taste good but didn't. I'm guessing the chicken had been frozen and wasn't properly thawed/heated up and neither were the tortillas. The fries also looked good but they didn't taste fresh. The cheeseburger was just mediocre and the bun was tough to bite into (stale perhaps). Seems like it would be hard to screw up a burger. When the waitress came to our table to check on the food I told her mine was just ok and that it was cold. While she was apologetic she offered no recourse to make it right. When the bill came we discovered we were charged full pop for the beers and food rather than the lunch special price that we told her we were interested in when we first ordered. When we pointed this out to the waitress she brought the manager over who agreed to charge us the lunch special price so we have to give them credit for that. But it wasn't worth the experience. We contemplated walking out of the restaurant after sitting there for a long time waiting for two beers (before we ordered lunch); we should have trusted our instincts. We won't be back.

It's a nice looking place but service sucks. I have a lot of patience but this place is something else smh. Food took 45 minutes to get and there was only 10 people here, and a simple water didn't come until after the food and the beer came at the same time as the check would not recommend this place at all
(1)
M T.
I went there with my husband and we were seated. It's a nice atmosphere, Ill give them that. We went in about 130ish and thought we'd go in and have a beer. It was our first time there. So we get seated and wait for a waitress, it's not busy at all. Maybe 20 people in the place. We continued to wait for a waitress, so then I look around and I see lots of waitresses just hanging around talking among each other. At this point it's pretty obvious they were B squad waitresses.

Very homey place to watch football! Genuinely nice waiting staff, easy seating and decent prices too!

2 dollar beer Tuesday and no wait to drink the beer! Hell yeah! By the way...2 dollar beers is EVERY Tuesday!

What can I say? Food sucks, service is severely lacking and unless you are drinking beer, the mixed drinks are pretty much terrible (poorly mixed with no taste or worse, have to give instructions to the servers and bartenders.) Avoid it.
(1)
Christy K.
If you want to watch sports and drink this is an option. However the service is never very good and the bar smells like mildew that runs the whole place and the food is poor. I would recommend looking into better options.
(2)
Naitisha R.
Every time I go here there's ALWAYS an issue with our food order. Service is definitely lacking, but the beer is always cold.
(2)
Todd D.
Good food but the service was below average. Slow Monday so not a lot of patrons, took our waitress forever to bring the drinks. Food took a good while too, slow to check in with us (not that she had a lot of others to look after). Very slow to get a second beer, then slow on the check. Food was not bad at all and a pretty good value. I suggest they find some motivated wait staff.

This place was everything I expected. Simple popular restaurant. I ordered a burger and it was great the prices weren't too bad and the beer selection was great as well. Service was acceptable, but clearly overwhelmed. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to meet up with friends, just get a reservation , it can get packed. Btw I had a 20$ Groupon.
(4)
Marlene M.
Cool place to kick back enjoy some good fatty foods a couple of drinks and watch some football. With TVs mounted all over the restaurant you won't miss a play. I little bit nicer than your typical sports bars. Chicken sandwich = Darn good Wings = Great Margarita = Strong but good

This place is absolutely horrible now!!!! I've lived in the 80917 zip code for 8 years, watched this place be built and open before my eyes. Over the last 2 years I have had more issues with this restaurant, so they say restaurant, than I have dealt with in all my years if running food service. I am an area manager for JJs in Colorado Springs and this place has dropped the ball the last 7 times I have been their. The last most current visit was 7/29/14, a Tuesday, why because they have 2 dollar beers and love it! But when I come in get a table after a 20 minute wait and then sit there watching all these 18 year old blonde chicks just walk by us without even asking if we want some mother f****** water, that really grinds my gears!!! So I went to the bar and ordered my own drinks In front of all the servers and hostesses and still....... Not a god damn person said anything to us!!!!! Wtf!!! This place has gone more and more downhill since 2010. I put in 3 feedback letters to corporate and still have not received a single call from an owner, GM, AM, kitchen manager, floors manager, no supervisor what so ever!! Like come on guys, get your shit together, I've spent at least 50 bucks a night every time I've come here and I get this service! So if anyone can help me out get some contact info that would be great!!! For the finale if any person within this company, fox and hound??! Haha right shouldn't even be a restaurant right now....anyway contact info I would love it, oh and if anyone within this shitty company would like to find me I'll be in any Jj in town!!! Thanks

Danger Will Robinson! Danger! Danger!! Wow, the pits! This place is absolutely terrible. We stopped in here last Monday afternoon for dinner. For starters we ordered the beer batter chicken finger. they were OK. For an entree I ordered the Top Sirloin, which is described on the menu as "A 12 oz. USDA choice center cut sirloin, char-grilled to perfection and served with crispy fries and thin onion straws," Medium. I also mentioned to the waitress that I wanted it pink in the middle, not red (raw), as is my habit because definitions can vary. She says that I had best order it med well then. OK, as I made the mistake of assuming she knew her own kitchen. Big mistake! What I got was a hockey puck! A dried out piece of shoe leather that was completely inedible. After about 10 or 15 minute I finally had to ask the other waitress to send ours over tpo our table. (Note: there were 2 of them working and only 3 occupied tables in the dining room at this point so I have no idea what she was doing all this time but clearly it was not checking on us). She finally shows up and asks how we enjoyed everything? I point out that my "medium" steak was in fact a hockey puck and was still sitting there. She asks if they can do anything to "make this right" but by that time we had to be on the road so I said no, just bring the check. Apparently this young lady believed that I should pay for the privilege of staring at the inedible hockey puck for all that time because sure enough, it was still on the check! Had to ask for the manager to get it removed. THIS PLACE IS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!

New to Colorado Springs but went here after watching a movie. Walked in around 10:00 and it was pretty slow. Waitress was really nice and good. Pros: great to watch a game or play beer pong, great beer choices and menu items. Staff was very nice. Cons: My onion rings came out and there was dirty onion ring skin on one of the rings. I mean under the batter the onion skin was really bad! But no big deal I just put that one off to the side. Next, my kids got refills on there drinks and she brought the drinks back with very minimal ice. Again not too much of a deal but felt it worth mentioning. And last, our bill came and it was around $60.00 for 3 people. That is kin of steep for chicken tenders and a Reuben sandwich. Also what we didn't notice and the waitress failed to mention it, after 10:00 pm it's half price appetizers everyday. My recommendation would be to do the half price apps and get a cold beer!!! But u have to go after 10:00

We found our way here through Groupon. We ordered the crispy chicken and onion rings. It was really greasy. Our server was very rude, when we ordered she asked 'is that all?' With an attitude. Never smiling or introducing herself. She seemed annoyed that we were even there. It was very busy, but all of the servers seemed bitchy, except for the 5$ shot girl, she was really smiley and sweet. The seats were ripped up with giant holes in them, really tacky. We ordered one beer, but it was difficult because the server wasn't familiar with any local brews they may have had on tap. Again, she seemed really annoyed with us. It's a bummer because this place has a lot of potential.

Fox & Hound is nostalgic for me. No matter where I visit in the US, it still feels like the one back home where I spent so much time with friends and making new friends. The environment is noisy. Not kid friendly. The service is quick and on point. The food was delicious. There were a few issues. The Spin dip app was not heated thoroughly. The Fish & Chips was crisp on the outside but had some batter uncooked on the inside. The burger and fries were awesome. Beer was cold and cheap. $2 pints are my favorite.

I went here about 7 years ago and most recently about 1 month ago. Seven years ago, I filled out the little "tell us how we did" thingy on the internet, the manager ended up giving me a gift card (which come to think of it, I never did use). Anyway, on my recent visit. Sunday afternoon, not too crowded. Something about waiting for a table, (waiting for the hostess actually) and having the next patron come in to receive a "right this way" from the staff that I just don't like. It could be the 10 minutes waiting, seeing open but uncleaned tables, and the next customer in line being whisked away to an open table. Food was so-so. Nothing special. Waitress was friendly and attentive though. I'll go to Rock Bottom next time.

Great service for how jam packed the place was. We went here last night and took advantage of $2 Tuesday with all drafts.

Drunken Chicken Tenders were amazing. I didn't even have to dip them in any sauce. The Guinness was too cold, the standard American bar mistake

We only had drinks at the bar but enjoyed it, lots of TV's to watch football and various other sports. Service was good, menu looked good and will have to try it again. Kind of a Champs feel, which is not a bad thing.

Fish and chips are unstoppable with optional onion rings and fries! We had a couple of pints of seasonal draughts. Great environment and staff is very friendly. Price is moderate with a basic classic menu that is always good. Burgers, melts and great appetizers. We even signed up for their free reward system and get a free burger next time. How can you beat that! I'm coming back!

This bar is great for beer and drink specials but if I had to complain it would be the food. The nachos are a total miss I was entirely let down. Literally the worst I've had at any chain restaurant. Not to mention the service has always been hit or miss. I once had to walk to the bar and ask of I had a waitress at all. This is after 20 min sitting without any help. To explain why I was so surprised there were maybe 8 people in the restaurant besides staff.

First time at this place for a work get together. Service was great but food and drink not so much. I had the jacked up cheese wedges...not a good idea at all. Thought they were gonna be like mozzorella sticks, all nice and cheesy and gooey but nope. Choose another appetizer if you go here not these. I also got to taste the buffalo wings and the chips with jalapeno cheese dip with blue cheese crumbles...they were alright but.nothing to rave about. Now to the drinks, I ordered the cherry cream soda. It looked like pepto...it smelled great but it was not good at all. My friend felt bad and got me a mojito, it was no better. I guess you have to be tipsy already when going here in order for the food and drinks to be good. Sorry Fox and Hound, I will have to pass next time someone mentions coming here.

I'm really torn about this place...the last couple of times our waitresses have been terrible - and they've reduced their portion sizes. But...I like all of the big screens!! Ugh.

Was in the mood for a burger last night and decided to stop in at F&H... Should have went to red robin like my son suggested! The queso appetizer ($7.50, rip off!!!) came out barely warm after a 15 min wait, then had to wait another 10 for a napkin. The Stacked burger was over cooked and didn't even have the caramelized onions on it as advertised... I wasn't even in the mood to say something about it, I just wanted to get this bad choice/experience over. Nothing about F&H was good... Especially at $33 for two (no alcohol)

Oh Fox and Hound. How you amaze me. So i went here for the first time going to watch the UFC fights. The server was a bit over whelmed and we had to go get our own drinks from the bar, so that was a draw back. The food was great. A lot of people were over served and there were multiple hit and runs in the parking lot. (my car was one of them) During the day this restaurant would seem pleasant and nice, but at nice, its like a frat party and people drink in excess. So be careful.

If you are looking for an English Pub on American soil, this would be the place to avoid. Hell, if you are looking for a decent 'pub' at all, this would be the place to avoid. Actually, just avoid. Like the veneer that covers its tables, Fox and Hound is a shallow corporate shill, a formula/cookie cutter wanna be. Over-priced drink, bad poorly-prepared food that you can get at Applebees or TGI Fridays, and vapid souless staff there to not care a whit about you, just take your money and expect more. Loud, dirty and poorly arranged, it is the 'Best Buy' or 'McDonalds' of drinking establishments. It trys to represent itself as a latter-day local 'Cheers', but is merely a weak pretender. If it wasn't already clear, NOT RECOMMENDED.

Disappointed every time, so I stopped all together. With the growing choices in the area you have to be good to get my business, and Fox and Hound isn't. The service has been horrible and the food just slightly better. I don't even feel like wasting more time typing this review...

Where do I start. Sitting on the patio right now drinking warm iced tea...eating boneless wings that are bone dry along with pretzel dippers that will break a tooth. Service was atrocious.

Its what you expect from a chain restaurant.. But the beer was cold the food was hot and we had a fun time.
(4)
T. K.
Food was pretty good. I like the sports bar atmosphere and shooting pool there. $2 pint nights are sweet and if you go late night during the week you can get a side pool room all to yourself. Worst thing about it is the service, the staff seems new every time I go there, they don't know what they're doing, and they aren't very accommodating. But overall I just go for beer and pool and its pretty chill.
(3)
Thomas O.
47 min ticket time for a burger! I should give them a lower rating but the service and atmosphere made up for it. Food quality and ticket time were a disappointment. Either KM WAS off haha its a friday night or he needs to find a new occupation. I agree with the previous poster waste of a good concept. If you just want beer then no worries and by the way this not an english style pub guys. Minus food i give it 4.

Typical atmosphere of a sports bar with a lot of TV screens and sporting events--but a little loud at times. I couldn't hear myself think or for that matter talk to the person next to me. Their menu items seemed to be pretty standard among these types of establishments. Food ordering was quick once it started, but took a little time to get the food--especially if you're in a large group. We found this to be a regular occurrence whenever we had group gatherings at this location. I found some of their food to be a little on the salty side and often already cold when it arrived at the table. On several occasions--it took our waitress a little time to refill our soft drinks. I can't really speak for their service at the bar. I'm not the type to drive out of way to eat at establishments serve average food unless it's really good/unique.

Ambiance: Upgraded sports bar. Lots of plasmas. Mix of booths and large pub tables. Decent sized bar, pool tables. Clean and inviting place. Service: Young servers, but very well-trained and personable. Very attentive. Food: Yes this is a chain place, but I was impressed with the menu selections and the quality of food. Better than places that just offer you a lot of heavily-breaded fried options. I settled on the spinach salad for lunch. Wonderful ingredients, including chicken, bacon, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and lots of feta cheese. Drizzled with a tasting pinot noir-based dressing. Served in a very large bowl. One of the better salads I have had in this town. Also, ordered a cup of their very delicious beer-cheese soup. Others in my party ordered the french dip and their BBQ ribs, and everyone enjoyed their entrees. Overall, I was expecting just an "ok" experience, at another typical chain. This is one chain I will be coming back to.

Part of 1st & Main shopping center this a great place to watch the game while the ladies shop. Their large bar area has plenty of TVs. Above average selection of beers thou a bit pricey. Good food for a chain. Pot Roast sliders are very good. A good spot to hit before or after SkySox game.

I need to start off by saying that this place has great drinks!! I came here the other night for a bday party so I was fortunate to try a multitude of appetizers. The pizza was less than special. It was so uneven as far as sauce goes and it just seemed like it was frozen. I'm not sure I would ever order another one. The hot wings I have to say were pretty darn good. I tried both the hot and barbecue flavors and was impressed with both, even though I'm not a fan of barbecue sauce on my wings. The hot flavor had just enough spice to keep you drinking water with no discomfort or frying of the taste buds. The chips and salsa were pretty average. The salsa had great flavor and a decent amount of spice and the chips were a colorful blend of red and white corn. They had a great selection of beers both on Tap and in the bottle and a weird section on the menu devoted to "beer potions." these concoctions used different types of liquor and beer to create something I've never tasted, and I have to admit I was a fan. The multitude of cocktails and great beer selections will keep me coming back but the big price tag on their main dishes leave me wondering if the juice is worth the squeeze.

Took the family today, it took over 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered. My daughters chicken was burnt, my wife's soup was really thick and was hard to digest. I had fish & chips which usually is very good and this was way below average. After we left we all got stomach aches.

The service is slow and unfortunately pretty consistent regardless of the time you visit. The food is well prepared and enjoyable. There is something about the acoustics of the place, regardless of where you are sitting (unless outside) it is loud.
(3)
Lauren M.
We go here from time to time, but it's never been our top choice. I like the bar area, but the restaurant seating seems weird to me. I have never seen the place packed either, and have been during football games, dinner, etc. Their Black Forest sandwich is awesome. I will say that. Any sandwich served on pretzel bread gets two thumbs up in my book. I can't say that I have been impressed with anything else on the menu. We have also never had bad service. Maybe because we are usually their only table ;)

The food at the Fox and Hound is very good. I have never had a bad meal there yet. But what really sets them apart is their great service. I am always amazed at how polite and freindly their wait staff is at this place. We go to F&H at least once a month and have been doing this for a few years and we have never once had bad service. They employ all the uusual "cute-young-boys-and-girls" the kind you never really expect much from but, every time they "wow" us with their great service and friendly attitude. They are definitly trained properly! Kudos to the general manager for his/her hiring and training abilities. I definitely recommend Fox and Hound for a nice relaxing meal or a beer on the patio.

If you want a five star meal go to the Peppertree, but if you want good sandwich , really good beer specials, with plenty of televisions go here. As far service goes, it is usually good, however there are times it's lacking, but overall a great place for a Reuben , fat tire, and friendly service. Remember you get what you pay for.

I've never had a bad experience here. I really like it. They have a beer that not a lot of places here in the Springs has. Smithwicks from Ireland. It can be a little old so I'm not sure if you can check when they replace the keg? That would be cool if they did that. Sometimes it can be a little stale and it's not good in a bottle, so you have to get it in draft. The food I've had here has been good. No complaints here.

We ate here twice with the family. Food was great, although they were sold out of some items (fish and chips, boneless wings) on second visit due to a large private party. They made upgrade substitutions to chicken tenders tossed in Buffalo Sauce that my son said tasted better than the boneless wings. Beer selection is very good, and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the styles of beer that one might enjoy based upon other preferences. Dessert Cookie was good, too. Although the general consensus on Yelp is that this is not good for families, I would disagree. We had our kids age 17, 9, 6 here, and they did fine. There were several other families with younger kids (about age 2-4) there as well. They do have a kids menu, and treated the kids well. My 6 year old said upon arriving for our second visit, "Oh, I like this house!" We'll be back on future visits.

Normally, after working at a place long enough it usually ruins it for me and I no longer enjoy being a patron at a place that I for instance, hosted and served at back during high school/college. However, this is not so with Fox and Hound or Bailey's(their sister restaurant, under same umbrella company). This location has beer pong tournaments on Thursday nights as well as karaoke. And great drink specials and happy hour. The appetizers are all half off after 10 as well. You can play pool or trivia. Good eats and drinks!

I had been apprehensive about coming back here. Most of the time we are usually here on a Friday or Saturday night and it is really loud. So loud, I can't hear my partner across the table from me. Our bartender Lacey was attentive and prepared to answer any questions we had about the beers on tap. We will return again.

Video games every Thursday night are fun to attend. The no kids after 10 rule is a bit odd. If you're a parent and your with your children, why couldn't they be at a restaurant that's open? The menu is limited. Most of the food is not good. I have found one or two that are fine, and I tend to stick to them. When I try others I'm usually disappointed. The server for the video game are is kind, responsive, and remembers our names. I like that.

Decent. We went for a fight night so the menu was extremely limited; however, the black forest sandwich was tasty and our waitress was average for a busy restaurant. Wish I could have ordered from the full menu. I might've enjoyed the experience more than I did.

Went on a Tuesday night with some of the guys, this place has a great atmosphere. A live DJ playing music the drinks were pretty cheap. I ordered the steak tacos with chips and salsa and I loved every bite of it, this place is definitely a cool spot to hangout!

Wow!! So I came here around 12:15am after watching a late movie thinking if like to get a late bite to eat and a beer. Walking in the music was INCREDIBLY LOUD! Kinda like night club loud. About 20 customers in the restaurant. Some sitting at the bar in the main room any the others scattered throughout. Nobody greeted at the door. I guess I get that, it was late. Walked in the main room and sat in one of the round booths for about 30 minutes. There were two female bartenders behind the bar. Two servers in the south dining area and one server in the main room where I was. The server, Marie/Michelle looked over a few times when she came out clean a few tables. She never came over to greet. I walked over to the south dining are to ask about a server?!?! Really?!?! After 30 mins?!?? Fair enough, it was late. So finally the server came over and the previous reviews were TOTALLY CORRECT!!! HORRIBLE staff attitude to begin with. She said she didn't see us sitting there. Ok, it was late. Looked through the table top beer/drink book. Listed lots of stuff to include specials. There was listed the New Belgium beer specials. I asked her about them. She had NO IDEA there were specials for the month of June like stated. It's June 8th!! A week in and you don't know your specials?? Manager not doing their job or what? Ordered a New Belgium special for $3. Not bad! Marie came back saying the manager was going to have to change the price because it wasn't programmed in the computer yet?!?! Really?! Ordered nachos and the stacked burger. Food was good. I'd order them again. Manager strolled by once. Whew, they finally lowered the radio!!!! Hmmm. Over all, the reviews made sense and were pretty aligned with what I experienced. But tags late slim Pickens for where to go for a late night eat. Denny's or Village Inn!! I think if put up with Fox and Hound. Otherwise, I'd just go home. Good luck!!

Just like some of the other posts, I would only come here for the drink specials. We were there last Saturday and we just sat down and the couple two tables from us was complaining about the food. The lady hardly touched it. We noticed that the floors were filthy, there was even part of a shoe under our table. The food was not great and don't order the fish, get a burger if you do eat there. We ordered the fish, spinach dip and beer specials. The waitress told us they ran out of dip, the table next to us sat down after us and was eating it. The waitress charged us full price for the specials which we had to complain to get it reduced. We been there once before and thought to give it a second chance but was disappointed.

Sunday afternoon football- not too loud, 9 screens to watch any game you want. Reading the reviews, you'd think this place would go out of business any day. But that wasn't what I experienced. The food was surprisingly good. Service was quick and friendly, everything was clean. We'll be coming back. Two downsides: prices were a bit high ($11 for the burger I had), and the bar tend had great difficulty making a Black and Tan.

Great organization for a big boxing match. Seemed like they had a solid plan for the crowdedness. Set up a taco bar to avoid having to run food out through the crowd. Friendly staff. Cold beer. Nice experience.
I have been here several times, really like the sports pub theme but the service is consistently unpredictable. Came for happy hour with high expectations, but the slow service is a let down. Shouldn't take 15 min after being seated to get a beer.

Great place. Such a great place. Won a maypac poster within the hour of being here. And the tacos oof are SPECTACULAR!

Lame, its not a Pub in any way shape or form- and calling it that is an insult to real pubs. Met with some friends for beers on a saturday night- it was mostly full from 8-9 then by 10 the place was cleared out, LOL, guess everyone moves on to other places? I moved here from San Diego last year so I'm used to a different night life. edit: have since moved back to SD (thank God) where we have some real pubs lol

My husband and I stopped in for happy hour on Tuesday. This place was busy at 4:30. We sat at the bar top. Ashley and Heather took very good care of us. They were hopping. Found out that all day Tuesday is $2 draft beers. Just which they had wine on happy hour. House wine for $5 is a little pricey. The Caribbean Jerk wings were very good. Lots of TVs and very clean. These girls looked at every glass before using it, which impressed me.

I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating . Their food is excellent , their happy hour is hard to beat, the vibe is amazing but unfortunately this place is missing the key to being a 5 star restaurant - customer service ! With the moment we walked in, I felt like I was being rushed. I barely say down and our server already asked me what I wanted to drink... Fast service is appreciated but c'mon girl! Can I even look what you have in your menu or should I have your beer lists memorized by my next visit ?! I was already irritated by the fact I was not given at least 5 min, and once I wanted to order, things got even worse. . I asked about mashed potatoes , that restaurant unfortunately does not have , so I wanted to know what "tots " were , and coming from Poland I have never heard this name before, so I asked what it was, and server got all pissy and annoyed that she had to explain it to me... And she could not even do that ! So after finally getting things under control, I ordered coffee , and she brought me this watery coffee infused crap in a styrofoam cup saying they do not have regular cups anymore .... Seriously ? Styrofoam cup in a nice place like that ? Anyways, coffee was horrible so I told her I won't drink it nor pay for it, so she just looked at me all mad, said okay and left. No apology , nothing, just attitude . Thank God manager was nice and understanding , but the girl that was our server needs some serious training how to deal with clients and keep them happy !

The chili is delicious, the drunken tenders are crispy and full of flavor, and their beer is fresh and $2 on Tuesdays. Will definitely be coming back. The waitresses are super friendly and not afraid to chit chat and be real with the customers. Love it here.

The management is unable to coordinate their business. I have been coming since they opened and sadly I now have to look for a new place. They still have $2 pint night & 30 taps on but unfortunately the level of service has gone seriously downhill as their prices for food have skyrocketed...$1 each for chicken wings...Seriously!?!?! This place has become a bad episode of Mystery Diners or Restaurant Impossible Our last two visits it took more than 15 minutes for our waitress to even acknowledge we were there... one visit we ordered wings and didn't get them for over an hour even after asking numerous times... beers go empty & glasses go dry in the long time we wait for refills

Voila.
(2)Genevieve B.

(1)Armando T.
It's a nice looking place but service sucks. I have a lot of patience but this place is something else smh. Food took 45 minutes to get and there was only 10 people here, and a simple water didn't come until after the food and the beer came at the same time as the check would not recommend this place at all
(1)M T.
(1)Sarah T.
Very homey place to watch football! Genuinely nice waiting staff, easy seating and decent prices too!
(4)Sarah B.
2 dollar beer Tuesday and no wait to drink the beer! Hell yeah! By the way...2 dollar beers is EVERY Tuesday!
(5)Scott L.
What can I say? Food sucks, service is severely lacking and unless you are drinking beer, the mixed drinks are pretty much terrible (poorly mixed with no taste or worse, have to give instructions to the servers and bartenders.) Avoid it.
(1)Christy K.
If you want to watch sports and drink this is an option. However the service is never very good and the bar smells like mildew that runs the whole place and the food is poor. I would recommend looking into better options.
(2)Naitisha R.
Every time I go here there's ALWAYS an issue with our food order. Service is definitely lacking, but the beer is always cold.
(2)Todd D.
(3)Charles L.
(4)Marlene M.
Cool place to kick back enjoy some good fatty foods a couple of drinks and watch some football. With TVs mounted all over the restaurant you won't miss a play. I little bit nicer than your typical sports bars. Chicken sandwich = Darn good Wings = Great Margarita = Strong but good
(4)Jeff P.
Food was decent, service at lunch time was meh.

But u have to go after 10:00
(3)Cara K.

New to The Springs. I went last week with my friends. Atmosphere was great. good was tasty. The bartenders are social and friendly and our waiter was awesome. I'll be a regular here for a long time:-)
(5)Brittany C.
(4)John A.
(1)Jenna M.
Great service for how jam packed the place was. We went here last night and took advantage of $2 Tuesday with all drafts.
(4)Nicholas B.
Drunken Chicken Tenders were amazing. I didn't even have to dip them in any sauce. The Guinness was too cold, the standard American bar mistake
(4)Dan H.
We only had drinks at the bar but enjoyed it, lots of TV's to watch football and various other sports. Service was good, menu looked good and will have to try it again. Kind of a Champs feel, which is not a bad thing.
(3)Dae Lynn G.
(5)hope w.
(1)Timothy W.
Recent visit, still a great place for a drink and a bite. Great news the smell is gone too! (From previous review)
(4)Shamonn M.
(3)Lindsay T.
I'm really torn about this place...the last couple of times our waitresses have been terrible - and they've reduced their portion sizes. But...I like all of the big screens!! Ugh.
(2)Brad K.
(1)Kevin S.
I always get great service and the place is amazing to watch sports at! They usually have great specials as well
(5)Sarah S.
(3)Pat M.
(1)David P.
Disappointed every time, so I stopped all together. With the growing choices in the area you have to be good to get my business, and Fox and Hound isn't. The service has been horrible and the food just slightly better. I don't even feel like wasting more time typing this review...
(1)Kim M.
Where do I start. Sitting on the patio right now drinking warm iced tea...eating boneless wings that are bone dry along with pretzel dippers that will break a tooth. Service was atrocious.
(1)Marissa G.
Its what you expect from a chain restaurant.. But the beer was cold the food was hot and we had a fun time.
(3)Thomas O.
(2)Hiram L.
Beer was cold.....The rest was terrible
(2)Glen R.
(3)Kalie F.
Good environment if you are looking to drink and eat. But if you don't want a loud active bar experience, this is not for you. I had a good time though.
(3)Cobra K.
Food Schmood...Girls in Tight Shirts! Wahooo!
(4)Keaton W.
Drink prices a little high, service wasn't to well either, our server took a long time to even acknowledge we arrived...Spinach aritichoke dip was good! There point system sucks really. Might go back one day?
(2)Sibby S.
(4)Stephen F.
Part of 1st & Main shopping center this a great place to watch the game while the ladies shop. Their large bar area has plenty of TVs. Above average selection of beers thou a bit pricey. Good food for a chain. Pot Roast sliders are very good. A good spot to hit before or after SkySox game.
(4)Nick B.
(3)Guy H.
Took the family today, it took over 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered. My daughters chicken was burnt, my wife's soup was really thick and was hard to digest. I had fish & chips which usually is very good and this was way below average. After we left we all got stomach aches.
(2)Tony D.
The service is slow and unfortunately pretty consistent regardless of the time you visit. The food is well prepared and enjoyable. There is something about the acoustics of the place, regardless of where you are sitting (unless outside) it is loud.
(3)Lauren M.
(2)B F.
Service was okay. Food was awful. Ordered medium rare steak and got a cold rare one. It's also really, really loud. Not a great place for a date night.
(1)Matt H.
Typical bar food, typical bar service. The experience was nothing to write home about, however the preztels appetizer is pretty tasty
(2)Crazu M.
Nice bartender on Monday night, but the karaoke was horrible
(4)Linnea C.
(4)Toonces The Driving Cat K.
Pricey...fish and chips were skimpy, not worth it. Nice seating outside though.

Great atmosphere! It's laid back and classy atmosphere makes the perfect setting for laughs with friends and drinks with sports. I ordered the barnyard burger.....heaven on a bun!

What the #$%@ were we thinking? The photos on the website made the salmon look amazing, but the reality served was not fit to eat. Same for the dried out barbecue chicken breast and steak. F&H is the worst chain....worst chain food that is. You have to try pretty hard to screw up every entrée for a table of three. It is perplexing how they expand, let alone stay in business. The servers were sweet as pie, which helped tolerate the experience.
